Community guidelines

Products people can actually use or sign up for. A waitlist is fine. A landing page with no product behind it is not.

One product per listing. If you ship a major new version, create a new launch on the existing product rather than a duplicate listing.

Specific feedback is the whole point of this place. 'Congrats!' is harmless but adds nothing, and low-effort comments don't count toward a launch's score.

Disagree with the product, not the person. Founders here are usually one or two people who have been working on something for a year.

Vote for things you'd actually use. Don't ask people to vote in exchange for anything, don't organise vote rings, and don't create second accounts.

We detect all three, and the consequence is having your votes discounted and your launch removed from the week — not a warning.

Posting about your own product in the community feed is expected and welcome. Posting the same link into unrelated threads is not.

First-time issues usually get a note from a moderator. Vote manipulation and spam accounts are removed without one.

Every moderation action is logged with the moderator's name and reason, and can be appealed by replying to the notice.
